Technical Documentation & User Guide
FAFO Architect is a single-file, client-side application designed for rapid prompt engineering. It runs entirely in your browser using local storage, meaning no data leaves your device. It combines randomized vector generation with a customizable database of aesthetic traits.
Purpose: Instant, one-click prompt generation based on algorithmic randomization.
Subject Anchor: Enter a subject (e.g., "Cyberpunk Samurai") to automatically replace the keyword subject in all generated prompts.
Complexity Slider: Controls the number of tokens/traits injected into the prompt.
Level 1-3: Minimalist.
Level 4-7: Standard/Detailed.
Level 8-10: Chaos/Experimental.
Rating System: Auto Mode prioritizes database items you have rated 5 stars or higher.
Purpose: A guided 3-step process to build a prompt manually.
Workflow:
Setup Vector: Choose camera angles, lighting, and surface textures.
Action Sequence: Choose energy manifestations and physics interactions.
Render Pipeline: Choose atmosphere, engine specs (UE5, Octane), and post-processing.
Reroll: If you don't like the 6 generated choices, click "Reroll" to pull new options from the database.
Function: Stores your favorite generated prompts.
Usage:
Click "Save" in Auto or Custom mode to send a prompt here.
Click "Copy" to save to clipboard.
Backup: Use the "Export" button in the Edit tab to back up your library to a .json file.
Purpose: Full control over the prompt generation engine.
Features:
Enable/Disable: Uncheck items to remove them from the random pool without deleting them.
Rating (1-10): Higher rated items appear more frequently in Auto Mode.
Add Item: Add your own custom aesthetic traits to any category.
Color Palette: Add custom colors (e.g., "Neon Cyan", "Matte Black") which are randomly injected into prompts if "Inject Colors" is checked in the top bar.
IMPORTANT: Because this app runs locally, clearing your browser cache will wipe your data. Regularly export your database.
Export: Click Export in the Edit tab. This downloads a FAFO_Backup_v15.json file containing your settings, custom items, and saved library.
Import: Click Import and select a previously downloaded .json file to restore your library.
Factory Reset: Wipes all local data and restores the default v15.1 dataset.
"The screen is blank when I click Library"
This usually happens if the local storage data is corrupted.
Fix: In the "Library" tab, click the red "Clear Library" button (added in v15.1). If that doesn't work, go to the Edit tab and click "Factory Reset".
"My custom items aren't appearing"
Ensure the "Enabled" checkbox next to the item in the Matrix Editor is checked.
Ensure the complexity slider in Auto Mode is high enough to pull multiple items.
